Show with 12 dancers, 10 drummers, will be in full costume. Dancers check with Doris and drummers with David. Show is from 6 - 8 pm. Parade starts at 5:55 pm and goes through the South Coast Plaza mall. Another small show before 8 pm. Arrive at 4:30 pm. Bateria will be in full costume dress but still wear white pants and black shoes.

If you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced samba dancer, this is the class for you. It teaches the basic samba passista step, how to carry yourself, and even advanced techniques in samba dance in the style of Rio de Janeiro from SambaLa Madrinha da Bateria, Valeria Ruggieri. Valeria has been on Dancing with the Stars, has done choreography for the Rose Parde, and has danced hundreds of shows including several international. NEW LOWER PRICE: classes are $50 for 4 classesl $15 for a single class.
