SambaLa Membership

We invite everyone who wants to be part of a truly wonderful Brazilian cultural group and "family". SambaLá is open all who love the Brazilian culture - both Brazilian and those who love Brazil. Becoming a member of SambaLa has the following advantages:

• Free admission to the Brazilian Street Carnaval, our yearly event
• Discount admission to the Rio Carnaval Ball, our yearly event
• Entry into our exclusive SambaLa members database where you can keep track and contact with other members including what events you have attended, your dues status, and contact information for other members
• Member discounts for classes, Club Samba, and other special events.
• Help keep the school's instruments and costumes in working order
• You elligeble to be part of our professional shows as a dancer or percussionist.
• Support your local Brazilian culture.
• Tax Deductible (we are a 501(c3) organiation)
• Help keep our non-profit status with your membership. Without an active membership, this is not possible.
• Allow you to be part of the exclusive SambaLá database of members where you can keep track of your membership and incentive points (incentive points coming end of 2008).
  
• Member only events (like our Malibu Party, President's party, and Member Appreciation Party).
