We Make our Own Costumes
SambaLa makes it own costumes thanks to our talented costume designer and carnavalesca (Carnaval Arts Director), Doris de Hilster. The job is enormous and many of top SambaLa dancers help Doris make the costumes in her studio in Long Beach.

Doris is in constant demand worldwide for her costume making abilities. She has shipped her costumes to Canada, Japan, Germany, France, and all over the United States. Some of her costumes have made their way to Las Vegas.
