Lula Almeida and band Afro Brazil celebrate 20 years of lively multi-genre brazilian music as well as a mix of other latin dance favorites. They continue to be the fun and contagiously energetic group that they have been since the Lamabada explosion of the 1980’s. Lula was one of the original composers for the now world-famous group Olodum.  Lula currently plays in bands around the United States and teaches children the art of Bahian and samba drumming.
